Daniel Steinhardt brings to the BGA a wealth of knowledge and experience in
'guitar-sonics' from pedals, amps and everything in between. He is a
co-founder of TheGigRig.com, a company  that designs systems that allow
guitarists to reach their 'tone potential' and has Dan dealing with
internationally renowned artists on a daily basis, and clients all around
the world that rely on the gear his company designs and manufactures to
achieve their tone.

His years of dealing with top tier artists and their rigs have given him a
unique insight on their approach to finding a signature sound.
Dan also writes for 'Guitar Buyer' magazine, reviewing pedals and amps as
well as his monthly 'Pawn Stars' column.

Although Daniel is most commonly associated with TheGigRig.com, his music
career in Australia would see him play with some of the biggest artists in
the country and tour the world extensively. Dan was Max Sharam's guitarist
for many years who's  song 'Coma' was recently voted in the top 10 best
Triple J singles of all time.

Daniel's latest musical project, Tin Spirits teams him up with XTC's axe toting genius Dave Gregory.

Dave Gregory was the lead guitarist of XTC, from immediately prior to the recording of the Drums and Wires LP in 1979 to his eventually leaving the band in 1999. He also contributed keyboards and backing vocals to their work. Gregory is now a member of the group Tin Spirits, which features ex 'Stamford Amp' singer Mark Kilminster and also guitarist Daniel Steinhardt and drummer Douglas Mussard.

From picking the guitar up at the age of 7 to the present day, Dave has calculated that he has spent more time playing the guitar than anything else, (apart from sleeping, breathing and eating). Dave (aka The Dave) is the guitarist for UK progressive rock band Mr. So & So as well as being a member of the Wishing Tree live band. Dave's debut album 'Gravity' displays his unique guitar playing style as well as his ability to write and arrange great songs.
